Hannah is a warm and empathetic psychologist passionate about providing support to children, adolescence, young adults, and their families. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) at Macquarie University, graduating with First Class Honours.
Hannah has a warm, compassionate, and empathetic manner and utilises a client-centred approach to therapy. Hannah has a special interest in anxiety and neurodevelopmental issues and is passionate about helping individuals to better understand themselves. She utilises evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology, Exposure Therapy, Acceptance Therapy (ACT), Parent Management Training and Play Therapy.
Hannah believes in the importance of establishing a trusting client-therapist relationship, and focuses on creating a safe, and supportive therapeutic environment where clients feel comfortable and validated.
Hannah has extensive experience working with children, families, and adults in educational and therapeutic settings. She has experience supporting children and adults experiencing a variety of presentations including Depression, Generalised Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Specific Phobias, Self-Esteem Difficulties, Relationship Difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attachment Issues, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, School Refusal, and Behaviour Management.
Hannah is collaborative in her approach, and believes in the importance of working in partnership with families, schools and other allied health professionals to best support each client.
When she is not at the clinic, Hannah enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis or swimming at the beach.
