Walk for Autism
Child Development Clinic has stepped up to Walk for autism. We’ll be walking 10,000 steps a day for 8 days and fundraising to help change the lives of people on the autism spectrum. Help make our steps count and support our efforts by donating now. Any amount, big or small, will get us one step closer towards a world where no-one on the autism spectrum is left behind.

Professionals Talk: The Inattentive, Impulsive and Hyperactive Child: Is Childhood Trauma Buried Amongst ADHD?
Jessica Staniland, Clinical Psychologist and Dr Berlinda Yeoh, Developmental Paediatrician will be presenting at the Northern Sydney Child and Adolescent Interest Group Network Meeting to a group of mental health professionals.
About the session: Is it Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), complex trauma or both? Given the significant overlap in symptoms between ADHD and complex trauma, there is much diagnostic confusion around these two diagnoses in the mental health field. The presentation will outline the similarities between presentations, review reasons for misdiagnosis and "missed" diagnoses, discuss "risk factors" for each diagnosis, and present treatment and management dilemmas for professionals to consider.
Podcast: Kidspot "The Juggling Act"
